Galaxy Gaming's "Bonus Craps" Tops 100 Installations
Acquisition Proves to be a Winner After 150% Growth
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTC:GLXZ), announced today its casino table game known as "Bonus Craps" has surpassed 100 installations - representing a milestone for the Company and its product.
"This is an important development for Galaxy Gaming, as well as for our clients in the gaming industry, in which we are a major player," commented Robert B. Saucier, CEO of Galaxy Gaming, the world's second largest developer, manufacturer and distributor of casino table games and enhanced casino systems. "We predicted Bonus Craps would be a winner for us and it has exceeded our high expectations."
Bonus Craps is an enhancement to the well-known dice game that permits players to place additional optional wagers - affording them the opportunity to win up to 175 times their wager. It was acquired by Galaxy from Lakes Entertainment (Nasdaq:LACO) in November 2011. Jack Malisow, formerly of Lakes Entertainment and now with Galaxy Gaming stated, "History proves that 95% of the casino operators who trial Bonus Craps eventually spread it to all of their craps tables. Players have responded favorably and our clients have increased their profitability. Casino operators have told me they expect Bonus Craps will soon be the standard on all crap tables across the country."
"Bonus Craps has been a solid performer for us this past year and has a quality that we refer to as 'stickiness' - that is, when we install it into a casino, it stays in," continued Mr. Saucier. "There were approximately 40 installations when we acquired it, so we are pleased with last year's 150% increase. Although the growth rate for 2013 cannot be accurately predicted, I do see continued positive momentum for this innovative game."
