Galaxy Gaming Enters North Carolina
GLXZ Continues Its Aggressive Eastern Seaboard Expansion
LAS VEGAS, July 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTC:GLXZ), announced today it has expanded its East Coast operations into North Carolina. The Las Vegas based company is the world's second largest developer, manufacturer and distributor of cutting-edge products for the casino industry, including casino table games, enhanced game systems and e-Tables.
Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort has installed Galaxy's games on 61 of its approximately 100 tables. Following the recent trend set by other eastern states including Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island to add live table games, the Cherokees negotiated a new compact with the State of North Carolina. This change allowed Harrah's Cherokee to add live table games to its establishment. Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, located east of Asheville, is operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
"All reports indicate our games have performed exceedingly well at Harrah's Cherokee," stated Dean Barnett, Galaxy Gaming's Sales Manager. "In fact, not long after the first games went live, the casino increased product placements by over 50%."
"The Cherokee's commitment in obtaining a revised Tribal-State compact underscores the importance casino operators are placing on offering live table games to satisfy player demand," commented Robert Saucier, Galaxy's CEO. "Galaxy Gaming is totally committed to aggressively pursue our expansion on the East Coast. Adding North Carolina is another import step in support of that goal."
