Mississippi Gaming Commission Grants Key Approval to Galaxy Gaming
After State Grants Regulatory Approval, High Card Flush Gets Strong Reception
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTC:GLXZ) announced that the submission of its award-winning High Card Flush table game received approval from the Mississippi Gaming Commission for distribution throughout the state. Initial placements of High Card Flush are scheduled for casinos located in Biloxi, Vicksburg and Tunica. Galaxy Gaming gained the Commission's approval following a successful 90-day field trial process at Biloxi's Hard Rock Casino.
"Mississippi was ideal for this product and we have additional commitments in the state that we are now fulfilling," said Bob Pietrosanto, Galaxy Gaming's Senior Sales Specialist. "Patrons are walking into casinos and asking for High Card Flush by name."
In 2013, Casino Enterprise Management named High Card Flush "Best Traditional Table Game," describing it as "simple to understand, fun to play and with patron-pleasing payouts." It was also named "Best New Table Game" by Casino Journal in 2012 and was a star performer of the 2012 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. High Card Flush is the only non-blackjack table game that is "suits-based," not poker-based. It does not require knowledge of poker.
"This game is both a top-line success and a bottom-line performer for our company," said Gary A. Vecchiarelli, Galaxy Gaming's Chief Financial Officer. "The Galaxy brand is attractive because our straightforward and innovative products enhance a positive player experience."
"We're very proud of what we achieved in Mississippi," said Galaxy Gaming Chief Executive Officer Robert Saucier. "Mississippi is one of those markets we have historically underserved, so the response we are getting from players and operators is inspiring."
