Galaxy Gaming Bonus Jackpot System Approved in Mississippi

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 13, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTCBB:GLXZ), announced today that it has received approval of its electronically enhanced table game platform known as the Bonus Jackpot System ("BJS") by the Mississippi Gaming Commission. In March 2009, Galaxy Gaming installed its first BJS system into a casino and decided to limit its initial roll-out to casinos in one gaming jurisdiction (Washington State) while it evaluated the system's performance. After the initial introduction was proven successful in Washington, the Company began late last year on implementing its North American expansion plans, starting with California, which the Company announced last week, and now Mississippi. The State of Mississippi has over 1,000 table games in 31 casinos.

Erin Hess, regional sales manager for Galaxy Gaming reported she was thrilled with the approval. "After meeting with numerous Mississippi casino operators both at their property and at the Global Gaming Expo held in Las Vegas in November, 2009, they told me they were looking forward to the day when they could use our BJS platform to boost their revenues," commented Ms. Hess.

"The Isle of Capri has enjoyed a long-standing prosperous relationship with Galaxy Gaming for many years," stated Mike Cray, Director of Casino Operations at the Isle of Capri in Biloxi, Mississippi. "We are excited their Bonus Jackpot System has been approved for use in Mississippi and we look forward to the opportunity to implement it which we expect will enhance our players' gaming experience."

Robert Saucier, Galaxy Gaming's Chief Executive Officer noted, "Mississippi has always been a great regional market for Galaxy Gaming in the past and we are obviously delighted to now have our BJS platform cleared to be installed in casinos there. The decision to select Mississippi as one of the early jurisdictions in our planned North American BJS roll-out was an easy one due to the enthusiastic response we received at the Global Gaming Expo. We especially want to thank the Mississippi Gaming Commission for their cooperation in the approval process."
