Galaxy Gaming's Bonus Jackpot System Gains Approval in Nevada

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 31, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTCBB:GLXZ) announced today that it has received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board for the Company's proprietary Bonus Jackpot System, which can now be offered to Nevada casinos for use on their table games. The Bonus Jackpot System consists of two primary sub-systems: the Bet Tabulator System, which is used by casinos to detect and count the number and type of wagers players are making; and the TableVision System, which is an electronic display system used at each gaming table to exhibit payout odds, jackpots and bonuses. When the two sub-systems are used together, the Bonus Jackpot System permits casinos to offer substantial jackpots and creative bonusing schemes to their table game clientele. The system competes with other table game progressive system platforms offered by two competing companies. Using the latest state-of-the-art technology, Galaxy Gaming officials believe its platform to be far more flexible, customizable and upgradable than platforms offered by its competitors, resulting in added benefits for the casino operator.

Galaxy Gaming first introduced its Bonus Jackpot System in a Washington State casino in March of 2009. The system quickly became popular and the Company has enjoyed tremendous success rolling it out to other Washington tribal and commercial casinos. The initial version installed in Washington and elsewhere was labeled the "Milky Way Series." The Company's engineers continued to make improvements to the system and it released the "Andromeda Series -- Stage 1" earlier this year and later, the "Andromeda Series -- Stage 2," which was the version just approved in Nevada. The next scheduled release, Andromeda -- Stage 3 is expected within a few months. Beyond that, the Company has also commenced developing the next version entitled the "Triangulum Series," which is scheduled for release in 2011.
