Galaxy Gaming's Triple Attack Blackjack Wins Best New Table Game of 2010 Award

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTCBB:GLXZ), announced today that its newest proprietary table game "Triple Attack Blackjack" won first place in Casino Journal's Best New Table Games of 2010 Competition. Awarded at Raving's Cutting Edge Table Games Conference held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on August 18-20, Triple Attack Blackjack was judged to have the best combination of player appeal, ease of understanding, and potential commercial success among 33 entries.

"Galaxy Gaming is the only company that has been 'in the money' all three years of the competition," said Dennis Conrad, President and Chief Strategist of Raving Consulting Company. "Galaxy has been important conference participants, as well as perennial new game contest winners, having improved every year, first receiving the Bronze Award in 2008, then Silver in 2009 and now winning the Gold in 2010."

As the winner, Galaxy Gaming received an offer to place Triple Attack Blackjack at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino near Lakeside, California. In addition, the October issue of Casino Journal will feature the game. Ironically, Galaxy also received an invitation from competitor Shuffle Master to distribute the game, which the Company cordially declined.

Bob Pietrosanto, Senior Sales Specialist for Galaxy commented, "We are extremely honored to receive the top award in this year's competition. Triple Attack debuted in casinos two months ago and based upon the initial reports received from our clients, we liked our chances going into this year's competition even though the number of games entered was more than double from last year. What makes winning this year's event extra special was the quality of the competing games."

In Triple Attack Blackjack, players are offered three opportunities to wager, once before any cards are dealt, a second time after they have received their first card and a third time after they have seen the dealer's face-up card. Typical blackjack rules such as doubling down and splitting apply, but in addition players automatically win if their hand is a 21 or consists of 6 cards without busting (a "Six Card Charlie").
